PM Will Meet With Grade-A Students in February 2023

Kampong Speu: In the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of National Road No. 41, on the morning of December 26, 2022, PM Hun Sen confirmed that he will meet with Grade-A students in February 2023.

He stated that he plans to meet them in February because he has to order iPads to award the outstanding Grade-A students.

PM encouraged the provincial governor to award Grade-A students just like in Kampong Speu province, which plans to give motorcycles to 22 grade-A students.

The Prime Minister advised students who passed the exam not to focus on grades but on the goal of pursuing a bachelor's degree. "Once you pass the high school exam, you can continue to college; as for the grade, it is not guaranteed that students with grades A will perform better in university than students with grades E," he said.

PM advised students who did not pass this year to keep studying for the exam the following year and to be as determined as the nearly 60-year-old candidate in Banteay Meanchey, who is determined to study hard for the high school exam next year.

PM also praised the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports for successfully organizing the high school exam.

According to the results of the 2022 Baccalaureate exam, there were 90,950 students who passed the exam, equal to 72.33%, including 1049 grade-A students, 7232 grade-B students, 19053 grade-C students, 31,166 grade-D students, and 32,450 grade-E students.
